brightrosefoxI got to use my conversational ninja powers at work today. Raymond had been out yesterday and most of the day before, and today he was a little woozy from the medication. One of the lawyers called up and asked if we could update a bunch of routing slips, which meant that Ray and I had to print the new copies, then go to the happy slicer and cut them out.
Ray said that he would be breaking the first rule of his meds: Do Not Operate Heavy Machinery. I said not to worry; I'd be there to make sure he didn't chop his finger off. He said, "Yeah, I'd have to go bring Rich my finger." Then after a minute of walking, I grinned and added, imitating a dialogue, "'What are you doing?' 'I'm giving you the finger.'"
Ray looked at me, surprised, and burst out laughing. We were stil laughing all the way to Office Services. It was nifty. So work's been fun so far.
