Charlotte invited me over yesterday, and I stayed until I fell asleep in the guest room around eleven. A couple of hours earlier, I had spoken with Adam, who'd said there was a good chance he might be home tonight, but we had still been looking at Saturday. So I was surprised when I was woken up at two in the morning by someone shaking me. It was my husband. But I was so exhausted and sleepy that I didn't move. He took offense and left for home. A few minutes later I woke up and realized what had happened and called him to come back to get me. In the car, a senseless argument led to my having several auras in a row (which is unbelievably frightening, actually), and then... I don't remember much. The complex partial seizure lasted a long time. It was like a dream. I remember feeling like I was in a dream.
Adam told me that throughout the night, until about four, I was wandering aimlessly, mumbling and twitching and very tense. When I was lying in bed, my left side was spasming and tensed so hard he had to massage me for a long time. The seizure hold finally broke, and after I recovered, we made love and fell asleep and woke up around noon. Went shopping, bought several months worth of food both canned and frozen, and fresh. Ate hash browns and bacon. I am now watching TV while Adam is watching the fish and also cooking fish for dinner (not our fish, grocery store rainbow trout).
My head no longer hurts.
