Someone hurts badly, someone had a fresh emotional gouging wound reopen and spill and stain. Of course I sense and react without realizing. I forgot my shields again. Stupid silly girl, no wonder I feel sick.

Hm. What would you call a form of empathy that allows you to react the opposite or counterbalancing way to someone else? Like, feeling physical pain when sensing emotional stress, or feeling emotionally hideous when someone is physically hurting? It's been happening with alarming frequency and strength as of late. I have to remind myself that some of these consistent symptoms are not connected to a virus or infection. It's just the collective unconscious weight of humanity again. My species in general is a psychiatrist's what-would-you-do-with-a-billion-dollars dream.

Adam gave me a wonderful compliment a few nights ago after I climbed in bed fresh from the shower. I was curled up against his left side with my head on his shoulder like usual, and he took my right arm and started gumming and kissing it like he does sometime to be silly, and then he stopped and sniffed and said "You smell like pretty!" Awww. Really? I asked him what he smelled, and he said that my arm smelled sweet and warm, but my hand smelled sweet and light, both almost vanilla-bakery like. Then I remembered that in the shower, I was using this wonderful body wash made with shea butter, brown sugar honey, and black seed oil. And to compliment it I used on my hands the lotion of the same name. And just now I remembered that a while back, Lissa was looking for a new body wash. So, this is for Lissa, and anyone else who wants:

The products I have are the Honey & Brown Sugar Body Lotion--and Body Wash--with Shea Butter and Black Seed Oil. I use the Body Wash can on my hair and for shaving, but it's so thick it can make make my hair oily unless completely rinsed (but it's sooo good for hair!) and it tends to clog the razor and clump up in places on my skin. Probably because it has micro-tiny ground up pieces of brown sugar, not to mention the honey. This is why I used the smallest amount possible. The Lotion too is so incredibly thick and creamy that I really only need a tiny, tiny, tiny amount. Talk about stuff that works!
Oh...and they also have a Lick Me All Over fragrance spray! *purrs* That's really hard to find. It's my favorite perfume. Although the reactions I get when I tell people what I'm wearing are priceless. (Vanilla, Orange, Pineapple, Cherry) Very sexy -- drives people crazy when they smell it. One person's reaction after sniffing my neck: "Wow. Can I kidnap you for a night or two?"
Heh...
