Adam just got home. With presents for everyone.
Danny got a giant "Family Guy" poster featuring Stewie saying "You Will Bow To Me!"
Jason got stuff for his instruments and music.
I got CD's, including the new Depeche Mode, "Playing The Angel" and two CDs from a band I've never heard of called Apollo Four Forty: "Electro Glide In Blue" and "Gettin High On Your Own Supply".
And for both Adam himself and me... two giant pink heart-shaped Sqush pillows! Twice as big as regular Sqush pillows.
Actually, these seem to be called Mogu Pillows...
I shall sleep well tonight.

Dear beloved novel,
I am so sorry I haven't written more in what seems like a long time, but it's been slightly hectic here at the house. All the shifting things around, prepraration for new stuff, and frankly, lots of watching "Lexx" DVDs. Things are going wonderfully here right now, and that should be more than enough inspiration. But I get distracted. I come home from work and I am too tired and too busy. But I promise that later today I shall write that scene I was meaning to write. I even saved it in an email draft to myself. It's gonna be good.
Love, your author.

I keep my novel's Word file saved as an attachment in my Gmail account. It nows seems that Gmail will allow me to see the file in HTML. This is wonderful, because it saves me all that gorram trouble of converting stuff when I want to post scenes online. The only exception is that I have to insert italics HTML and that sort of thing myself.

A little side note: Adam provided the Voice of the Goddess. Literally. When I asked his advice on what a god might say to a human, he provided help. He sat next to me and talked about what he believed and what his faith was, and I wrote it all down. Where Mother Danu talks about the creation of the universe and the birth of gods, those words are my husband's words verbatim. And I listened to him the way Dana listens to the goddess. He is an incredible speaker. So, welcome to a scene in my book carved mostly by Adam.
