Happy birthday to me

So I'm 27.
Or rather, at 11:58 PM I will be officially 27.

It was a long, hard, tiring day at work. But I did get a lot accomplished. So I am pleased. Last night, I got a card with money from my parents, and today my boss gave me some birthday cash. My darling husband called me to say how much he loves me and he misses me horribly and can't wait to see me so we can have a private post-birthday celebration.
I think tonight will be a very nice, quiet birthday night by myself, maybe with Jason. We just ordered food. I'm getting a steak and cheese sub, Jason is having manicotti. Since the actual party will start on Friday night, I'm going to take things light. Take a long shower, give myself a well-deserved pampering facial, eat chocolate, watch Smallville, work on the novel. I was considering getting on a bus to IHOP or Special Treasures in Old Town Gaithersburg; but I'm tired and comfortable and I don't really need any gemstones, and I can get pancakes later.
So, quiet night. Yeah.

By the way, Lena, I love you and thank you for soothing me to sleep last night. I woke up and the migraine was gone. You are awesome and wonderful. (Lex, if you screw this relationship up and let this woman go, I will injure you badly)
