The weekend isn't over yet.
Last night it was me, Charlotte, Billy, Lex, Lena, and Danny. We hung out in the basement, ate Lena's spaghetti, chatted for hours. I went to bed (in the guest room) at around one in the morning. Charlotte's mother, Pam, was laid up in bed with a herniated disc, so she couldn't join the fun, but I made sure to say hello.
I woke up around nine-thirty after some bizarre dreams which I won't get into. As I was stretching, Charlotte came in and asked how I was. Then she said something unexpected: "Well, an ambulance came and took Mom to the hospital." I made wide eyes, then guessed, "Her back right? How is she?" Charlotte said that Pam had not been able to move or get out of bed. She'd called for help and asked for an ambulance, crying in pain. I slept through that. I have been living with Adam for too long, I guess.
Charlotte and her grandmother (who lives across the street) just left to go to the hospital and visit Pam. Charlotte is hoping that they knocked her mom out on painkillers and that they'll keep her for a couple of days. She doesn't have the capabilities to fully care for her mother right now, especially since her mom is overweight and would need help getting in and out of bed. We think Pam will be okay, it's just a matter of time and healing.
The general plan for tonight is to move the party someplace else, to someone else's house. Just us again, a private affair. I think Charlotte will just need to get away for a few hours, contemplate. I don't plan on inviting anybody else because I want her to be comfortable, and we are all people she is most comfortable with. But like I said things will be okay.

And now for something completely different:
I knew that )

Dear sciatica, I hate you.
Although, I believe my insurance does cover acupuncture as long as it is for a specific problem... because nobody wants to hear me scream in the middle of the night again.
*squirm* Ow.
Good thing the furniture in Billy and Charlotte's home is so comfortable.

I crave salty crunchy foods. I'm PMSing. Hooray.
Or the Trileptal is causing my sodium levels to plummet.
A little of both.
Charlotte taught me to lick salt from my finger when I need it.

Perhaps I can convince Billy to run to Sleven. He might want another cup of coffee.

The cats are crawling on my chair again. Yes, hello, Baby. I love you too.

*grinding of teeth*

Sigh.

I should study Reiki.
