sometimes you just know

I introduced the garnet eternity ring to the flower of life pentacle pendant last night. They like each other. Holding the pendant tightly with my right hand, allowing ring and pendant to touch, sends an instant, surprisingly powerful flood of energy, love, and pure light through my hand, up my arm, igniting my root chakra first and then the other six as it passes around my body, ending at the top of my head and lighting up the crown chakra with a fascinating intensity. This makes sense, as garnet activates all the seven chakras, but especially the root, heart, and sacral. Healing and clarity and power and fire and passion, the psychic river. I do feel more... healed, already. My physical pain is less. My stress levels have started going down.
I think I have accepted fire as my element and passion as my blood anyway, finally. And I was always afraid of fire until now. It pleases Brigit at least and it makes Danu proud.
I may decide to perform a ritual with the ring similar to the one I did with the pendant, but without blood. I've been told it's a good ring for a potential Druid Bard.
Things come to us for reasons we rarely understand. I'm definitely on a path to something strong and passionate, yes. It could be the eventual initiation that Adam and Steve mentioned, it could be good changes in my personal life. Last night, after Adam, Danny and Steve came home from the bar and a very drunken Adam encouraged Lena to go upstairs and come into bed with me, I had a quick premonition, falling back asleep holding Lena's hand: It was very personal, but very heartening.
Adam, Beca, James, Lena, and Danny: You were part of it. So, thank you well in advance for the things you will do for me without necessarily knowing it. *smile*
