I'm on fire and I'm shivering. My eyes and throat are burning. There is no strength in my muscles and they ache. I have no appetite, with mild nausea and cramping in its place (but that, in itself, is because I'm on menses).
Danny says it is a mild head cold. He gave me Reiki. He has the same thing; one of his coworkers gave it to him. He assures it will be gone in two or three days.

Other news:

My garnet and gold eternity ring will become my Druid power ring, next to my electrum wedding ring. It's very strong. It actually pulses against my skin.

Congratulations to Lena for getting the job at Night Dreams. She's here with me, giving me energy so I feel better. Warrior Goddess.

I feel better for hearing Beca's voice on the phone last night, if only to hear "I love you." I needed that.

I miss my husband.

The gods are throwing things right in my face now. Balder was in my dreams again last night, and this time all my dreams that night revolved around my novel, a first. I do not know whether to be excited, anxious, or irritated to find that I am no longer writing this book alone.
