Guard and Release

Bad pain day.
I've mentioned a few times that I have three specific spirit guardians, guides. I don't know what to call them, since they seem to be elemental in nature, young human women in form. They're normally deep inside me, both part of me and separate on my astral plane and in my brain. I once thought it was similar to alters within the head-realm of a person with DID, but now I am unsure. They're just... there. Always. Charlotte is one of the few people who can sense them constantly, but then she was also the first to notice them.
The "girls" are like a psychic moral support system, usually so hidden I don't even feel them unless I search for them.
But when the pain gets bad, when the anxiety rears, when the exhaustion kicks in, I feel them as a much stronger presence than usual. This morning, good example. Ariana was on my left side, Sirena on my right side, Dana as usual inside me, lifting me so I could walk. They've done it before. It had been very frightening the first time they did that. Invisible presences actually touching me. In learning more about them, I also learned that Ariana is connected to air and water and is the most prominent vocal guardian; Sirena is connected to earth and is my main protector and the strongest, and Dana is connected to fire and is the silent guardian, the main source of most of my strength, who never shows herself outside of me. Sirena is also the most mutable, having originally called herself Siren and masquerading as a fictional character during my college days until I got used to the idea of having guardians.

Last night was a good night, though, which is why I am sore and tired today. Adam had injured his back a little, so I massaged the area and started directing healing energy until my right arm was on fire and he could feel lines of fire under his skin. He returned the favor by cracking my neck and back. The sex, afterwards, was very intense and very heated, a complete release, helping to ease all the little aches and pains and knots. We talked about how everyone has the potential to use healing energy, like in Reiki. However, the powers that Adam, Charlotte and I apply are more wild, not so structured. I also realize that Adam and Charlotte are more naturally gifted than I am, which just means I'll have to keep studying.
