Saturn Day

Adam left for Atlanta this morning; we spent an hour in bed beforehand, spooned comfortably. And it finally became very cold. I turned on the heat, up to 66 degrees (I like even numbers). I do not believe it will snow for a few more weeks, but the biting cold has me somewhat relieved; it is December after all.

I trimmed my hair a little. I haven't been to a salon or stylist with scissors in over a year. I never liked when other people cut my hair. I would ask for a small, simple trim and they would take off four inches. I don't want to pay for that. I bought a pair of hair cutting scissors, ice tempered stainless steel. When I trim, I put my hair in a ponytail and pull it over a shoulder and trim gently, repeat on the other side. Mom doesn't understand why I want such long hair, to grow down to my waist. It's hard to explain other than I just want it, I find it wonderful.

Wrote a few pages in the novel, a good scene between Dana and Jeremy on the astral plane. The tide is starting to turn. Good.

Eating currently: Newman's Own Sweet Dark Orange Dark Chocolate Bar.
Going to eat shortly: Baked ziti ordered from the Italian deli down the road.

I smell like Anna Bellina's Bliss signature fragrance. The Bliss Elixir lotion. My skin feels like the skin of a baby, all velvet and silk. The unbelievable intelligence that animals have, the way they speak to humans, never ceases to amaze and delight me. I hope that kitten went on to live a long, good life.
