business for hubby

Tonight is my last night with my husband for three weeks. Tomorrow, Adam begins the drive to Dallas Houston, Texas. He will be setting up computers for a conference (I think it's about new weapons for the military, or science; I'll find out). Between the driving to and back and the work itself, he won't be home until the last week of January. We went grocery shopping and got everything I'd need to cook by myself, or with the roommates.
This won't be the first time he has been away for three weeks. A few years ago he was in Pittsburgh, PA for three weeks. It was lonely then, and it will be lonely now, but it's his job.
I'll miss him.

Speaking of... Adam went all out this evening for dinner, since it'll be the last one he makes us for three weeks. Crab cakes, London broil steak strips, buttered rolls... and decadent chocolate cake with melted chocolate squares inside and white frosting all over.
