All my blood tests came back normal. No lupus, no Lyme's, no arthritis, etc etc.
Mom is convinced it is a hormone imbalance. She wants me to see a local doctor who is a licensed acupuncturist, nutritionist, naturopath and homeopath, specializing in Oriental medicine. Dr. Wu, right on main street here in Gaithersburg. Mom would pay for it, too, so I wouldn't have to worry about the cost. I'll call Dr. Wu sometime today, and my insurance company as well to see if they will cover at least part of it. But Mom says she'll pay anything just to know I'll get better.
Adam wants me to take some basic yoga classes. He's absolutely right.
I think for now I am going to live with the pain and manage it as best I can and not call it anything.

"Chronic pain is a common secondary problem associated with cerebral palsy (CP). This pain may be due to the musculoskeletal problems that often accompany CP, including spasticity, scoliosis, and bone deformity."

And, to quote the acupuncurist I saw when I was seventeen: "Cerebral palsy causes major imbalances in the body, and can often lead to serious hormonal imbalances in adulthood especially for women."

To paraphrase from the 1998 movie "Merlin": I am in danger of seeming a little... stupid.

Why the bloody hell didn't I put two and two together?

Brain fog. I swear.

I can't brain today. I have the dumb.

Yatta!

Danny and I are watching downloaded episodes of Heroes, starting with the first one.
When we got to Hiro's first scene and he runs through his office yelling "Yatta!" Danny began singing "Yatta, yatta" under his breath with a very catchy tune. I asked him if that was a real song, and he jumped up, paused the episode, went online (the television and big screen are connected to a computer and keyboard) and found this gem. By and large the strangest, most insane, most nonsensical video I have ever seen.
Make sure you have five minutes, and you're not drinking or eating.
