I decided not to get the tiger's eye ring. It would be too wide and big for my liking. It is still very pretty.

Busy weekend ahead. Adam has today off, so he will be greeting a vendor on behalf of our home insurance, which I just renewed. Sunday, we're getting our cable box in the living room replaced due to the hit it took during Monday's wind storm and blackouts. Saturday... probably grocery shopping.

Vanilla espresso: Wonderful.

Jason's April rent is long past due, so hopefully he will be able to give us something soon. He's going through some stuff, so I'll be patient. Mom calls Adam and me the most friendly and lenient landlords on the planet (these are our friends, after all). Could be worse, we could be like "Pearl" in that Will Ferrell "Landlord" video.

Luna is still the most adorable, loving kitten I have ever known.

I love my husband so much.

It's the weekend.

It's also 420. Hurrah for a recognition day for my favorite occasional muscle relaxing pain reliever! At 4:20 I will be getting ready to leave work, but there will always be evening at home.

What American accent do you have?
Created by Xavier on Memegen.net

Northeastern.
You're probably from somewhere near New York City, possibly north Jersey, or Connecticut or Rhode Island. If you are from New York City you may be one of the types who people never believe when you say you're from New York.

Northern. Whether you have the world famous Inland North accent of the Great Lakes area, or the radio-friendly sound of upstate NY and western New England, your accent is what used to set the standard for American English pronunciation (not much anymore now that the Inland North sounds like it does).

Take this quiz now - it's easy!
We're going to start with "cot" and "caught." When you say those words do they sound the same or different?

Occasionally my old childhood Brooklyn accent and adolescent Eastern Long Island accent will emerge randomly and merge happily, and my "oo" words will be rather amusing.
