Saturday with the Pauls

I made a cheese omelette for the first time. Completely on my own. A simple two-egg omelette with mozzarella cheese.
Yeah, yeah, I know.
It's an omelette.
Adam loved it, that's all that mattered.

I have a dentist's appointment at two, a simple cleaning. The office is across the street from the Montgomery Village shopping center, and Adam will be in Big Lots looking for a new can opener while I am getting my teeth cleaned by my favorite dental hygienist. Grocery shopping at Safeway will be next. We need butter, milk, cat litter, meats, pasta.

We may or may not go to Charlotte's afterwards. I'd like to bring Luna and see how she interacts with Shadow, Baby, and Buster. Luna and Shadow have met before, when Charlotte brought Shadow over one weekend. They got along mainly because Luna looks so much like Baby and Buster -- and Shadow will only accept her own kittens; or apparently cats who look like her own kittens.

I'm watching the "Heroes" marathon. The season finale is Monday. *big grin*

Charlotte and Billy wound up coming over here, so the boys could watch NASCAR together. Adam is grilling chicken legs marinated in royal jelly and honey, with garlic and other spices. I think I am going to spend tomorrow pampering myself, giving myself a facial and asking someone for a massage. The muscles in my legs and arms feel unusually weak today.

We have a new automatic can opener, new groceries, new ice trays, kitty litter and food. I bought a couple of bras. Something about just spending a simple day alone with one's beloved -- it is incredibly relaxing. I don't have a worry in the world at the moment.

Dinner is amazing, by the way. The royal jelly adds an incredibly sweet touch to the chicken. I love love love royal jelly in any form. It's so healthy and wonderful. It's even in my favorite face cream (which I do not eat).
