I stumbled upon this little organic skin care webstore while looking for skin creams containing goji berry extract. After ordering the Anti-Element Emollient Cream and the Pomegranate Acai Lip Balm, I belatedly realized that the address listed on the website was right here in Gaithersburg, in fact a fifteen-minute drive away. I emailed the owner, Linda, and as it turns out it's her lab where she makes and distributes products on the website, while an actual physical shop is in Pennsylvania.
Because of my proximity, the cream and balm I ordered yesterday arrived this morning. I emailed Linda with glowing reviews of each, and we've been talking about meeting up at her house some time so I could take a look at her lab. This excites me; I've always wanted to watch a holistic skin care specialist at work. I just need to find time to get over there.
In the meantime, I highly, highly recommend the Anti-Element Emollient. It looks and feels like a thick, whipped cream mousse, with a natural yellow-gold color. Apparently it was featured in an article about organic and natural sunscreens. It's the only moisturizer I can find that contains actual Goji berry extract as well as Sea Buckthorn. It also contains Lotus extract and Ashwagandha. *makes wide eyes*
The Pomegranate Acai Lip Balm gives my lips a very silky soft sheen, literally it feels like silk. It doesn't taste like anything, though.
My next order from Linda will be the Cocoa Salt Scrub, because the concept of exfoliating with pure cocoa powder and dead sea salts makes me happy.
However, it is awesome to have something like this practically down the road.

Bold emphasis mine. I am particularly interested in the berry's effects on human skin. Although I can attest to the effects of the juice on my own body: I drink the pure juice (brand Gojilania), one ounce every morning. It seems to be doing some good -- after a solid month, I've started noticing small changes in the health of my skin and hair, small changes in my energy levels and pain tolerance, and small changes in my mental state, an overall improvement in mood and memory function. I will not and can not speak for anyone else but myself, so I can't say if drinking the juice will help you, sorry.
