Adam and I both had today off due to health obligations. Also, Adam has to fly to Boston, MA, for work.
We woke up early, and I called our physician's office to request an Urgent Same Day Appointment for Adam. He already had an appointment with the orthopedist (he decided to cancel that later, as his shoulder is fine). The doctor's only slot was at 4:30, the last appointment of the day. Adam just wanted to know what the doctor can do for him to stop the itching, whether it's more medication (hydroxyzine), a medicated cream, or, well, anything. The doctor gave him more hydroxyzine, told him to continue with the prednisone and the Caladryl lotion, and just wait it out until the Relafen's effects have been completely flushed out. Last night, we tried a high quality shea butter cream of mine that had sea buckthorn, pomegranate, and hyaluronic acid; it worked enough to take the edge off, so I gave him the jar and will order more later.
He is on his way to the airport; his flight is at eight. He'll be home next Saturday. I am still hoping that he'll be okay by then; that the drugs will have kicked in fully and the horrible itching, crawling sensation will be gone. He looks like he's covered in radiation burns, he's been scratching so badly. I've done my best to help him feel comfortable.
My morning and early afternoon saw me at the NRH in Olney, for an interview with MetroAccess. My special ID card had expired after four years and I needed a new one. The interview was just a formality to update the paperwork and my file photo. I told the woman about the fibromyalgia and the epilepsy, and explained how my disability issues had gotten worse over the last four years. She took my picture and told me that I'd get my new card in the mail, but I can still use my old card, since they know it's being renewed.

Jason and I are now watching downloaded episodes of the Simpsons. His new girlfriend, Megan, just left to go home. We're playing with Jupiter, who loves the "fishing pole" I'd gotten from the dollar store near Charlotte's house.

I probably won't have pictures of me in my elegant dresses until later, perhaps when Charlotte comes over at the end of the week to help me with the purple one. But for now:
The purple one looks like this dress, only longer and royal purple with multi-colored rhinestones around the waist. The red and black one looks like this dress, only with spaghetti straps. They are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for me.
