Got Me To Normal
Dec. 9th, 2009 10:57 amLast night proved to be what was needed. Stimulating conversation, Science Channel, sex (slow), History Channel, sex again (fast), Science Channel again*, more conversation, then cuddling. Fast sex had caused the hypertonia to flare up severely, but it passed, and I quit stumbling, and the muscles relaxed, and all was good.
I had not been up for intimacy of any kind the night Adam came home, being in a flare, and he came to bed at four in the morning. I get twitchy when I am woken up abruptly while flaring. Everything hurt to the touch. No sex. The night after, however, we went wild. Dopamine and serotonin levels are restored. All good.
Today, I am seeing yet another temp agency, and Adam and I might run errands. It is raining, but snowing. If you're not working today, come say hello.
*Something about how Dr. Michio Kaku discusses the science facts surrounding theoretical warp drive and space travel, you know? I adore than man.
Also, I need to find my copy of Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle In Time and compare it to Dr. Kaku's theories. Tesseracts, FTL travel, warp drives, yada yada. L'Engle's book was written between 1959 and 1960, after all, and was ground-breaking.
