needles. icky.
Nov. 13th, 2002 11:39 amWent to the doctor's yesterday--FINALLY. (Let's hear it for insurance!) I was honest and forthright, and I told her everything. I told her about the pot seizure incident, I told her I'd taken E, I told her what both had done for me. She was really cool about it, like, "Hey, that's okay, it's cool, at least you told me instead of lying." She checked me out, listened to my story. She said she couldn't find any physical evidence of why I was having seizures (she made me do a bunch of weird face exercises to check the nerves). But she told me to go to the lab and have blood drawn and they'd get back to me. My insurance wouldn't pay for bloodwork done there, so I signed a lab waiver, paid the $20 bucks out of my pocket, and watched the pretty blood flow. Now I'm a tad dizzy. ;b
The doc did say she would recommend me to a local neurologist, though, so I could have EEG tests and CAT scans and stuff. Who knows, maybe I really do have something. Then again, it might be an electrolyte imbalance, or a blood sugar imbalance, or anything. The important thing is not to worry about it unless I have to. *whimper*
