Also, I make an awesome mocha
Apr. 5th, 2010 01:56 pmAnthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern amuse the hell out of me.
I'm nearly done with The Red Tree by Caitlin R. Kiernan. Now I can't help but stare at the old oak tree in my front yard, waiting for it to destroy my mind.
It is such a beautiful, warm day. I walked to the Flower Hill shopping center and back. Treated myself to the best eight-dollar eyebrow wax ever (the waxing lady is extraordinary and does exactly what I ask); bought my favorite beverage, Bom Dia Acai Energy Conquer; tasted a sample of Spanakopita and loved it; and chatted with a stray cat on the bike path coming home.
I am now pounding the keyboard, causing misery for my protagonists and entertainment for my antagonist. (They say conflict sells.)
I am in slightly less pain.
