I've had my husband home with me for almost a week!
(He needed to decompress, and had built up enough work hours to do that.)
The joy and glee I feel just needs to go on record.
We've run errands, hung out, did loving couple things, and caught up. I read and wrote while he played PS3 games, and we watched movies, and we had discussions about silly random things.
It was fun.
He will go back to work starting this weekend, but it will be local jobs for a few days.
Fuck, I'm just excited to have him home for this long.

Ahh. That was one of the worst mixed tension migraines in quite a while. I'm okay now. I can sit upright and focus my eyes. I had to leave in the middle of the delicious dinner, which Adam had lovingly prepared: Baby portobello mushrooms in a thick whine sauce mixed with the juices from the steak we'd bought today (a whole roast beef, but we are advantageous and lucky to have a deli slicer and large separate freezer. Slicing up steaks and steak tips was easy and money-saving). I could not keep my eyes open for more than a few seconds, I could barely work the muscles in my jaw to chew, and my head felt hideous. Adam made me go upstairs. He wrapped up the remainder of my dinner. I knew I would not have been able to eat the cheddar-filled bread he had baked. I might have not kept it down. I was grateful for his love.
I went to the bedroom almost by feel alone. I took pain pills and muscle relaxants and swallowed them down with my chocolate superfruit honey coffee for the caffeine. I took the Zoloft because it was time. I turned off all the lights. I lay down on the bed and wished I had a sleep mask. I felt cold, and the cold felt good. I chanted a meditation exercise in my head, and I breathed deeply and slowly, and I willed myself to relax and sleep.
I opened my eyes two hours later. My head was only throbbing mildly. I could sit up and keep my eyes open and I could focus. Light did not hurt as badly. I shuffled into the entertainment here and did some online browsing and learned that Zoloft can be used to aid migraines. I believe it aided mine. I feel less horrible. Not better, but well enough to function.
Several friends are experiencing similar headaches and talk about other people having similar headaches. We've attributed it to weather patterns. Tomorrow may be warm and sunny, but Sunday will see rain and a cold front move through our area. My worst headaches almost always happen a day or two before weather changes.
The fibromyalgia is flaring hard again. That is to be expected.
