During a phone conversation with my dad, whose family is Sicilian by way of Greece:
"I have to say, every time I see a map close-up of Italy, I feel bad for Sicily. It's always being kicked by a fashionable designer boot. And then there's Greece, like Cthulhu rising from below, seeing little Sicily as a sweet chocolate morsel to savor before devouring the boot like a spaghetti noodle."
I may be just a little hungry.
