Dec. 11th, 2012 11:20 pmRight. So, I did leave a message with my neurologist's office, and she will call me back later in the week to see if we need to talk face to face or just over the phone. I have also made another psychotherapy appointment, and physical therapy resumes in January. Today, I am in such extreme wild pain that I can't describe it exactly. Proper drugs and herbs have been taken.
Also, I have been biting my tongue so hard lately that said figurative tongue has been bleeding. "You shouldn't take those horrid anti-depressants, or any of those Big Pharma drugs. They will destroy your body. And besides, they are all placebos. These vitamins and foods are all you need to cure your epilepsy and depression and fibromyalgia! Especially this product - it will cure everything!" Oh, the tongue biting I have done. Oh, the face punching I have wanted to do. And I am a staunch advocate for alternative medicines, treatments, remedies, medical foods, etc. Which is probably why I find this attitude so appallingly annoying. Those "evil Big Pharma" medications helped save my life and I have not had bad reactions, so for me they work pretty damn well. And if they are all "placebos" then I'm really getting my money's worth, because wow.
Thanks to a recommendation, last night Adam and I watched the film "Rare Exports" - a Finnish horror movie with English subtitles. Not exactly horror, essentially black comedy horror. Creepy and awesome and fascinating. I can handle that sort of horror movie just fine. The ending made us laugh wildly.
