And yes, almost anything would make eczema-plagued skin to burn and feel raw! Honestly, the only moisturizer that has never made my skin burn during an ezcema flare was pure camellia oil. So usually, if I have a really bad flare, I'll apply camellia oil first, let in sink in, then apply the Anti-Element Emollient. I usually buy my camellia oil from Ebay or from bulk websites that sell carrier oils, if you're curious. It comes from the green tea plant and is extremely healing.
