Winding Down

I finally took my walk around 4:30, when Jason and Megan started playing their video game in the living room. Video games in general tend to irritate me for a bunch of reasons, even though I can enjoy them. And between PMS and head injury, my irritibility was a tad high, so I figured I needed to get walking. Twenty-five minutes to the local Giant Food store, where I bought some tropical juice with goji, and a box of Entenmann's All Butter French Crumb Cake. It satisfied a craving. I rode the bus back. The "God Of War" game was still going on, so I went upstairs and watched some TV in my bedroom for two hours. Came downstairs to get some dinner: leftover grilled salmon cut up and mixed with orzo. Video game still going. Eventually I'd like to finish watching Season 7 of the Simpsons and some Babylon 5 before bed (Jason knows this and may soon quit). But there is also trash to be taken out, a kitchen floor to be mopped, litter boxes to be scooped, and a chapter to write. At least with the internet, I don't need to find "save points" in order to stop, so I can actually quit and go do other things.
Fuck. I really really don't like feeling so cranky. I need to stop feeling like I want to smash something. But I also don't feel the need to be apologetic. I can be damn cranky if I want. I'm PMSing and I got hit on the head with a chrome-plated showerhead, for fuck's sake.

My head feels better. Adam is safely in his hotel in St. Louis. My kitten is still profoundly adorable. I have goji juice. I have salmon and orzo for dinner. So I'm happy about many things.

Ben has that game, God of War. I like watching it and I think it's funny that you can have sex for points. Haa! Video games can be a little overwhelming sometimes though, all of the noise and movement can be irritating when you're PMSing. Eat chocolate, I am!

Hah, yeah, I so want to go for 1. But I sort of did kinda mention 2. earlier, except I did it in a wimpy way that told them they could play as long as they want.
What I need to do is be a bitch more often.

Sorry we got on your nerves with the gaming thing today.you did say we could quit whenever we wanted. I thought you were just in one of your moods.you know you can always tell me whats going on and you didn't let me know it was important to you. generally you are lost in yourlaptop and the tv is just background noise for you. in all fairness I am rarely ever in the common areas of the house, I tend to live predominantly in my room and in my room alone when at home. been trying to be around more to help out more and truly I was unaware you were so" cranky". so, please forgive. and I'll get meg to bring over her game system and we'll hook it up in my room.

I talked to Adam about it, and he said that Jason could unplug the Playstation and take it up to his room if he's going to be playing for hours and hours. It's Adam's Playstation, and I know why it's in the living room, but I didn't think about saying, "Hey, you can take that up to your room for a while? I don't mean to complain, but you did say you'd only play for a little while, and this hasn't been a little while. I really want to watch some Babylon 5. And yeah, so I'm obsessed with the Simpsons, but they make me laugh. And laughter makes me hurt less."

My biggest problem with this is that I feel so fucking guilty about, like, everything. Grar.

I feel like I need to ask for forgiveness from you, and you are right, it usually is background noise. And you are rarely in the common areas. So, it was me being cranky and in pain and wanting my TV -- cause, yeah, I'll admit, Simpsons is a thing!
By the way, I may ask you later to check my eyes. My head still feels fucked up. I called my doctor this morning and even though they're booked today the nurse thinks I have a mild concussion.
