We had to have both of our furkids put down in the last couple of months. They were both 15. One died of renal failure and the other had an ATE (feline stroke). With unlimited funds, which we do not have, we could have made them stay around for us but it was their time and they are no longer in pain. Part of me knows there is no afterlife (the scientist part of me) but part of me hopes that Pixel and Smudge are there to look after Rose.
