"Couple barred from flight for man's shirt. Clothing depicted lewd act, airline says."
I find this disturbing and bizarre, but somewhat understandable. Still, I think many people are just way too scared of sex and anything indicating a sexual conotation; they repress themselves. It troubles me.
But this is very cool:

"What Dreams Are Made Of"
I love dream research. When I was a teenager, I wanted to work at a dream instutite as much as I wanted to work in parapsychology. I found out that some of my female cousins on my dad's side used to be very psychic and they had lots of psychic dreams. I wrote a high school senior thesis on parapsychology and its relation to neuroscience, and included an interview with my cousin Tricia, who was empathic, clairvoyant, and precognitive, and was skilled in astral projection. She said that as
she got older, the abilities faded. It might explain why my father was so psychic when he was younger. My grandmother Josephine was also precognitive through dreams. Maybe the whole Capello family has a "psychic gene" or something. Lucky me. ;)

- a researcher into twin telepathy
(I am still fascinated with these things)
I have some amazing 'psychic' dreams. I wish more people talked about this stuff so it wasn't so taboo, because it feels silly to say 'I have psychic dreams' - but I know that I do.....
What sort of things/dreams do you experience ?

Date: 2004-08-04 10:32 am (UTC)I've had dreams mostly of people close to me. Either something wonderful would happen, or they would die or be seriously injured. But my dreams have always been very cryptic and layered with metaphors and images that might not necessarily relate to anything going on in real life -- until later. Like, I could dream something that turned out to be symbolic of an actual event.
