Gilmore Girls is one of my favorite shows. My mom and I talk about it all the time; we compare ourselves to Lorelai and Rory. I was reading a magazine just now, and I just found out...
Sebastian Bach plays a recurring guest star character on the show.
Sebastian. Bach.
As in, Skid Row?
Yeah. Him.
I knew that blond guitarist guy looked familiar! I knew it! He's the one who plays guitar in Lane's amateur band. The character named Gil. He's Sebastian Bach!

Apparently he has been a recurring character since Nov. 2003. I really never made the connection. Two years. Damn. Now I may have to find that episode where he first appears. And start checking the guide for any episodes that feature Lane's band...

Ah, I remember that! Desperately wanted to see it, but couldn't afford the tickets or trip up back then...
Actually remember a conversation w/Mala awhile ago where we decided that if they were to recast "Jesus Christ Superstar" for Broadway, he's the only person we could think of at all that could match Ted Neeley's range & near glass-breaking pitch as Jesus...I'd kill to see/hear that one...

Missed him at JAXX, as well as Towson MD's Recher Theater more than once, each time by a damn day, finding out one day too late every time that he was playin'...was mighty cranky every damn time...
*dorky grin* Yeah, I'll admit it, been a SR fan since I was friggin' 7 years old...*yes, has been a hair metal fan since the beginning, even when too young to grasp it...and is bravely proud of said geekiness...though, still actually embarrassed about that brief liking of "Nelson", and hangs head in shame*

Hehe...I remember being in Elementary School, already at 6 & 7 one of those kids who was up til 1am & 2am...hearing Skid Row for the first time fuckin' bootleg of one of their first ever itty-bitty club shows (early 88'-ish? so I guess I was 8, not 6) being played on DC 103.1 back when it was fuckin' "DC Underground, Pirate Radio" *warped nostalgic grin*...had already been listening to Poison for awhile, and have clear memories of dancing on my best friend's mom's bed to Guns'N'Roses "Appetite for Destruction", which was of course the first tape I ever bought my 7-year-old self when it came out in 86'...in retrospect, soooooo wrong for 2 7-year-olds to have been belting out "It's So Easy" *snicker*...I remember loving Bon Jovi's music, but being literally scared by the bad permed long hair *smirk*, so I used to tear out and throw away any pictures of Jon from the metal & teen mags, and from my tapes, but I thought Richie Sambora was absolutely *insert six-year-old swoon here* adorable...
*LMAO* Ah, the days me obliviously singing along with Warrant, Cinderella, Motley Crue, Def Leppard *eyes glaze over with a grin*...
Awe, shit, I even remember being introduced to "Megadeth" the first time on good ole 103.1 Underground...hehehe...talk abouth the good old days...
