Update on the puppy

As it turns out, the secretary who rescued the wounded puppy was indeed able to pay for the broken leg. The poor thing had been sitting there for a whole week before anyone would even look at it! Lisa told me that she would sign the papers allowing her to foster the puppy until she could hand it over to someone else, since she lives in an apartment and didn't think it was an appropriate place for a puppy. I told her to keep me updated. But for anyone interested, it's a female 6-month-old border collie mix. Lisa says it has a very sweet disposition. It's in PG county now, in Forestville. But at least it's safe.
