As I look around, it seems that most everyone I know has contracted some variation of lovely holiday illness. Christmas joy brings viruses and bacteria galore. Isn't it wonderful?

My voice is still gone and now my nose is stuffed up.

I really should be getting back to sleep, but Cartoon Network is featuring a six episode marathon of "Perfect Hair Forever" and I'd really like to know why the talking tree who wears jeans is tripping on acid. And why there is a floating hot dog with eyes that sings nothing but "Do the La La La La La La La" to a boy with horrible hair who is on some nameless quest.
And this show features what is perhaps the most incomprehensibly bizarre, weird, and unlikely one-liner ever uttered by a cartoon character, or any television character on any television show anywhere: "Can you get this vacuum cleaner to fuck this cake?"
No, I'm not hallucinating. This really is a cartoon show.

I guess as its the most stressful time of the year, you put a huge strain on your immune system. With a weakened immune system, viruses and bacterial infections find it easier to take hold. This coupled with meeting all your friends and family, you get to spread the germs around as unwanted and unwelcome presents.

No, I didn't stay up late enough, but my hubby and roommate did. Danny said that yes, it is very very wrong.
