The rest of the house went to a barbecue, and because I wasn't in the mood for barbecue, Adam declined. He wanted to spend the rest of the day "alone in my house with my wife."
So, what did we do?
We baked a chocolate cake.
Two boxes of Pillsbury Moist Supreme Devil's Food Cake.
Added Hershey's Dutch Cocoa and Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa, and lots of milk, and extra eggs. No icing. We don't need icing. Oh, it is good. It is so amazingly good. It melts on my tongue and sends my brain buzzing. Isn't chocolate addiction similar to drugs?
We also have baked pasta with cheese for dinner.
Yes, I am eating. I promise.
The house feels wonderful with just us in it, even if only for a few hours.
