So I start off the day with a Starbucks Doubleshot (ready-made espresso with cream and sugar) and a bottle of water. Two and a half hours later, I have lunch (leftover pasta and chicken alfredo from home, and a can of fruit juice). I'm all jittery and caffeine/sugar loaded, so I start drinking more water. I decide to go online and look up a way to lessen the jittery, shaky, dizzy buzz. I come across this laughable website, http://www.arc.org.za/WHEN%20SHOULD%20I%20DRINK%20AND%20HOW%20MUCH%20AM%20I%20ALLOWED%20TO%20DRINK.htm , about how drinking is "unnatural" and we're really only supposed to eat fruit like animals in the jungle. Really silly to read but has some interesting points, like what caffeine does to the nervous system and how much water is in different kinds of food. Aimless plea by a bunch of hippie Christian vegans, but amusing reading all the same. Besides, I really should quit caffeine and stick with vitamins. Lik SoBe Adrenaline Rush. Yum.
But I guess I am justified in drinking all that apple juice, then, neh...
