In further research on Cat's Claw, I have decided that it is generally harmless. I've been taking it at full dose for over a month already before I found out the possible side effect, and I'm fine. However, to be on the cautious side, I have decided to only take it when I feel sick, and then only at half the recommended dose. I rarely ever take full dose of any alternative med anyway, since they recommend high amounts that I just don't feel I need. I'm taking the Pau D'Arco on a daily basis now. It works just as well, and I'm still happy.

Also ordered more Valerin (valerian, passionflower, magnesium) to help with stress, and Passion Flower itself. Those were three bottles for the price of one, so I think I'll give one to Beca and see how she likes it. It's a really gentle anti-anxiety herb.

I got the My Lip Stuff products last night. They're very yummy. "Sunflower Oil, Hemp Oil, Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Aloe Vera Oil, Flavor" because Lissa asked what was in them. So far I think I like the Tint Balm best. It's unflavored, but you can taste the cocoa butter so it's chocolatey. Plus, it puts a hint of rosy color on your lips, but nowhere else. I kissed my hand to test, and all that came off was the shine in the balm itself--no color. Great for kiss-fests. Lesse... my six-pack had: Vanilla Icing, Chocolate Icing, Cookies & Cream, Chocolate Candies, Butter Cookies, and Vanilla Buttercream. I'm wearing Vanilla Icing right now. *licks lips*

And you know what, I'm sitting here with a Snickers bar and I don't think I want it. I was thinking about pizza for lunch and I got grilled chicken instead. How's that for nifty? Sugary flavored lip balms sometimes do curb appetites for sweets and fats.
