limping

I now know how to properly wrap an ace bandage around my ankle.
I wish I had not had to actually fall and injure my ankle in order to do so.
Ice packs feel good.
And better that it be the left ankle, the weaker one.
After limping all the way home from halfway to the bus stop at seven in morning and leaving a voicemail at work, I wrapped my ankle like an amateur, crawled into bed and propped the foot up on a pillow and fell back asleep for four hours. Then I called my husband to ask him how to use an ace bandage correctly. I have decided to just wear socks and boots for an hour or two and then re-wrap. It is impossible to put my heel down anyway. I am healing well.

So, in the meantime, I give you these, two meme thingies I found floating around LJ:

Ask me anything. Anything. Even if you think it might be rude, even if you think you should know, even if it's something completely random you've just always sort of wondered, even if you think it's personal - ask me anything, and I will answer or lie convincingly about it. Political, social, personal - whatever.

and...

If you had me alone, locked up in your house for twenty-four hours and I had to do whatever you wanted me to, what would you do with me?
Answer the question and then repost this in your LJ. You might be surprised with the responses you get.
