My husband has brewed up five gallons of hard cider and 35 pounds of glazed candied ham. He seeks people who love beer and ham to come and take part all day today. And even if you don't like apple beer or glazed ham, come over anyway. If you are in the area, stop by or give us a call for directions.
If you don't know the number, comment with your email address and I'll send it to you.

Saturday night: We found out that Beca and James were staying in the local Hilton with Beca's relatives, since her sister got married that afternoon. Around eight, I took a bus to Shady Grove, rode the metro two stops to Twinbrook, and walked across the street to the hotel. I met Beca and James in the lobby -- I hadn't seen them in many months, so it was very joyous. We wandered around the hotel, hung out in their hotel room, ate room service food, waited for Adam to join us after the NASCAR race was over. I was just happy to be with my heart-sister; she was gorgeous and glowing and wonderful as always. Being in her presence is always like standing in rays sunlight and auras of angels.
There were two double beds in the room, for some reason, so when Adam finally arrived at midnight, we decided to simply stay the night. Woke up around nine, got breakfast, said goodbye. That aura of sunlight and angels is still with me.
At home, Adam prepared his apple beer and ham. I decided to take the bus to Giant Foods and get snacks for myself. When I came home, Billy was there. Johm, Aaron and Vicky arrived shortly afterward, and then Lex and Lena came. Ham was eaten, beer was drank. Conversations were had. I was grateful to be with Lena after months of not seeing her. And Lex brought his wire-hair terrier, Ashes, who is a sweetheart. She's small enough to be a lap dog, but she's not a yappy dog.

New episode of The Simpsons tonight. Clean-up, bed, dreaming. Yes.
