In This Peace
Nov. 30th, 2007 10:11 amMy roommate Jason has been bringing home a new friend, Masha M., who is one of the most awesome and adorable people I've met recently. Her last name is Russian and beautiful, she's exotically beautiful, and an English major at Jason's college. She loves music, loves Jason's music, dances at Buddhist temples, has the sweetest personality, and is curious and amused and enthusiastic about just about everything. If he doesn't start dating her already, I might. He glows when he talks about her and gets this nifty little smile on his face. I've never seen him this happy and relaxed about a girl.
Adam is off to Georgia. My anxieties about travel are kicking in, as they always do. I know he'll be just fine, but that's anxiety disorder and OCD for you. He'll be home next Thursday, but still. You know.
I'm wearing my amber butterfly ring. Interestingly, it makes me feel very tranquil and filled with peace, with a sense of rightness about myself, a slow quiet subtle transformation unfurling like rose petals. I might do some energy channeling into the ring and into my amber pentacle pendant with the wreath of Celtic eternity knotwork. What kind of energy, I don't know yet. Meditation is the key, I feel.
A double espresso seems to do the same thing that Strattera did a few years ago for the ADD. My brain is so calm.
