Linda called around 11:30, on her way to come get me. I met her out in the parking lot -- a slender, petite woman with dyed red hair and pale, smooth skin. We hit it off right away. She treated me to a vegetarian lunch at Baja Fresh, and then we were at her house, heading into the basement. It looked like a hybrid of a skin care store and a laboratory. Linda was dressed in blue scrubs with her hair pulled back. She had been working on some retail and wholesale orders, so I got to help. We made eyeliner pencils, eyeshadow base, lip balms, and face masks. All the while chatting amiably about our lives and common interests. I learned that her husband works with her, and sometimes her young son and daughter help, too. She showed me everything, how things are made.
It was absolutely fascinating.
She drove me home around 5:30, and we had a lovely conversation about spirituality and belief, as well as psychiatry.
I can't give away much of anything -- no secrets, no anything. All I can say is that I am thrilled that I got to experience it, I can't wait to do it again, and I learned a great deal. I also went home with a few things: a Wisteria shower gel, a Honey Citrus face scrub, a Cocoa Clay facial mask, and lipsticks in Redbud and Raspberry. Of course, I can't have that much free stuff again. But I will get a few products in exchange for my time, assistance, and writing skills. Linda wants my help in writing descriptions on the website, which makes me giddy.
I love the Cocoa Clay mask so much. Gods, it looks and feels just like chocolate frosting.
I think next time I want to make myself an Anti-Element Emollient.

Linda is amazing, and so are her products.
