Last night:
After an argument with myself over the nature of The Female Body and how bloating can affect the size of my pants and how I don't need a larger size in pants at all (although the balloning breast affect was nice), I applied my moor mud mask to my face and neck and relaxed for ten minutes, washed it all off, then applied a sea buckthorn cream, and felt better.

I went online looking for pictures or paintings that resemble Dana's facial structure in the novel. I found two by Victoria Frances that are pretty much spot-on. I don't know the names, but they are gorgeous.

And these by Luis Royo:

The facial features I find most attractive in women are full lips, sharp cheekbones, and defined jawlines. So I think this makes sense, that I'd see the characters this way.

(Ian looks similar to actor Chace Crawford and Alex looks similar to actor Milo Ventimiglia; Ian looks like their mother while Alex looks like their father.)

Me, an hour after taking a Soma pill: HeeeeEEEEeeee. Soma. Sooommaaa. SOMA SOMA SOMA SOMA. *giggle*
Adam: Awwww. You're adorable when you're all fuckered up on muscle relaxing analgesics.
Me: Will you give me a scalp massage later? And, and a back rub? And, and, and a whooole body massage?
Adam: Ahh, you wanna be rubbed down, I see.
Me, blissfully: Yeeesss, pleeeaaase. Tinglies!*
Adam, grinning: I certainly don't mind rubbing and touching my wife.
Me: You're silly! *giggle* I love you. *pause* SomaSomaSomaWheeeee! I'm not hurting, I'm not hurting! Yay! *spins around in wheelchair, gets up and dances*

Oh, carisoprodol. Gods, this stuff is so good. There's no chronic pain. No chronic tension. No spasticity, hypertonia, clenching, tightness. If only for a few hours. That alien feeling of total muscular relaxation again. It's bizarre and foreign and I love it. Tinglies. If my physician could see me, she'd laugh. I wonder if other people with both cerebral palsy and fibromyalgia take Soma? I wonder if they feel like this?

Adam tells me that Luna was being insanely adorable all day during his day off. She demanded to be picked up and held. As in, paws on his chest, meowing, climbing up to his shoulder until he held her like a newborn child, and she purred happily against his neck. And then he put her in a pillowcase and then a nylon hamper coated in catnip and played with her for hours. What an awesome kitty we have. I love her so much. She gives me instant peace every time I touch her. *pets Luna* Oooh, soft.

*Note: I absolutely love and adore scalp massages. I melt completely when that happens. I get tingles all over to the point where I vibrate almost out of existence. Soma causes that tingly sensation automatically, so imagine what it's like when someone scratches my head while I'm on the drug. Ooooh. Ahhhh. Yeah*
