Now my nose hurts and I'm blind
Jan. 10th, 2004 01:46 pmSuch is the price of maintaining beauty: Mom's friend Nancy gave me a sandalwood paste that must be mixed with water to create a facial mask. I have a bottle of rose water. To that bottle, I added pure oils of neroli and camellia to make it more interesting. Mixed it all up, spread it on my face, waited fifteen minutes. Nancy said that to remove the dried mask, rinse with water or remove with damp cotton ball. I rinsed first--and it got up my nose. And in my nose. So now I'm smelling rose, sandalwood and neroli and I think I'm tasting it, too. I mean, I know you're supposed to inhale aromatherapeutic essential oils, but I think I may have taken it a bit literally!
Hey, at least my skin feels better. And it smells pretty. *sneeze, cough*
Stupid sun in my eyes. Why the hell won't those blinds close? *snarl* This may become a problem later unless we can fix them. The new table, right where the fish tank was, is directly under the window, and where I sit is just off to the right so the glare is right...in...my...face!
