I was honored to be the first person to order online from the new Walk In Beauty skin care site, and when I received the Aphrodite Beauty Lotion, I kept sniffing and sniffing, struggling to figure out what the heck was that wonderful deep floral scent hidden among the rose and jasmine and sandalwood. So I emailed Vickie, and after giving very high praise to the ingredient list (which has everything I want, and I convinced her to add tamanu), I asked about those essential oils. No secret, she tells me: Rose Attar, Tuberose, Ylang ylang, Myrrh, Jasmine, White Star Gardenia, Sandalwood, Fir, Patchouli, Lemongrass Rosemary (in very small amounts, mind you).
Ah ha! Gardenia and tuberose. Excellent. Makes for a weird taste if I rub it on my lips, but for my face, body, hands, and hair, it's a lovely lotion. It's also fantastic for my knees and joints. And I smell pretty (although I may soon get the Gaia Lotion, which is the unscented version). The lotion also feels psychically charged, which is a plus. Looks like Vickie is very spiritual too.
Vickie will be working on the rest of the site and product descriptions. I think I'll try the Clarity facial cleanser and toner soon.
