As soon as I hung up with Beth, Ray let me go down to CVS. Lisa came with me--the secretary who'd adopted that puppy I'd mentioned a while back. I bought Primatene inhaler and tablets, for good measure. I called the doctor's office and had to leave a message, but I gave them all my info, told them I wanted to come in to get checked out for asthma (as well as seizures--good idea, Beth; gonna try for another EEG) and right now I'm sipping strong coffee. I took one tablet, since the extent of the problem isn't so serious I'm passing out, and I think the tablet will help at least for now. The cold, fresh air seemed to help as well. Ray's joking with me because neither of us like going to doctors, but I told him that this time I'd go because I refuse to fuck around with my own health. After I talk to the doctor, I may stock up on Guarana, which is similar to Guaifenesin, but I'm still going to run everything by as many people as I can--second and fifth opinions; see what works best for me. Ray doubts the Albuterol, but since I have no idea what works best, I'll do some research. Emilie, I think you mentioned Albuterol a lot in your DeadJournal. What else would work? Beth says Primatene isn't always the greatest (read: doesn't really work!).
