RIP Daniel

Mom called. Their tabby (our tabby), Daniel, who we have at had for twelve years, died today.
He stopped eating. He began crying, then vomiting. Mom and Dad rushed him to the vet, who first thought heart failure, then realized the cat was severely, mysteriously anemic. He began blood transfusions. Daniel got weaker. Then... he died. He just... died.
Three hours, and he was dead...

I dreamed about it last night.
I dreamed my cat died and it came true.
This happens too often when it comes to my loved ones being injured or dying...

Awww, sweetie. *hugs* It's always so, so hard when pets die. :(

Yeah. And for some reason, the pets that you grew up with hit so, so hard in an unexpected way.
I got Daniel when I was sixteen, and he was the first cat I ever owned that was a loving cat (the calico I got when I was ten, Muffin, was a bit neurotic). Daniel gave hugs.
