Spirit animals

Fascinating. As far as this list is concerned, I seem to be: Butterfly, Cat, Deer, Dolphin, Fox, Lynx, Porcupine, Ram, Earth Dragon and Water Dragon all rolled into one. I know you can have one or two main animals and several additional ones. My main animal is Fox, Butterfly is secondary, followed by Deer, then by both Cat and Lynx. But all the other animals have popped up in my meditations at so many points during my life, it's hard to pick sometimes. The spirit animals you start with aren't always the ones you have later on as you change and grow. But there are one or two that always stay. In my dreams I seem to be constantly guided by a fox-cat hybrid, I usually feel like a Deer, and my main guardian is a Water Dragon accompanied by an Earth Dragon.

but there's no penguin on the list. why aren't penguins ever on lists like this one? i've never never never found penguins mentioned ever when looking into spirit/totem animals.....and if i have a spirit/totem animal it is definately a penguin. (i also have to argue with her placing ravens with rooks, a raven is two things a rook is not - a trickster and a hoarder - at least according to the other sources i've found.) but bah. i guess i'm the only one with an afinity to penguins.

I've never met anyone else with a penguin, but you know, I think I actually have seen penguins on maybe one or two other totem animal sites. I'll have to find those for you if I can. The penguin affinity just means you're unique. Which you are!
