While Adam had been in the city, his work van had been broken into. His laptop bag was stolen.
*grinds teeth, keeps mouth shut about this fucking city*
He can get another laptop, other network cables and tools. But there were other things in that bag that were irreplaceable.
We're going to make dinner now. I can't fume properly on an empty stomach.

How far down do you spiral to decide that stealing someone's laptop is an acceptable course of action? Probably not, and it doesn't have to be; just nothing good to say right now. Here's hoping he crosses the tracks of the karma train without looking.

Date: 2007-10-13 08:43 am (UTC)If you and Adam have the patience, I'd suggest checking with pawn shops in the area and search on eBay every 3-4 days.
Does Adam have a list of what sort of tools were stolen? I buy and sell telecom/network/catv tools on eBay, and I will watch for them if I know what I'm looking for.
