Merry Saturday
Dec. 29th, 2007 03:50 pmMy mood has been lifted significantly. Yay.
Adam and I woke up when Luna and Jupiter joined us on the bed for pettings and grooming. As I attemped to fight past the pain to get up, Adam went downstairs and made blueberry muffins, which he brought upstairs for me. We had breakfast, then sex, then shower. I gave myself a quick facial with the rhassoul clay scrub and the moor mud mask.
And then we drove to Charlotte and Billy's house, picked them up, and went shopping on Rockville Pike. Charlotte and I hit the Dollar Tree while Adam and Billy hit the new Micro Center. I bought plastic bowls, dish sponges, a compact umbrella, and a hairbrush. I left Charlotte with the boys and headed to Trader Joe's. I love Trader Joe's so much. I got cat food, both canned and dry, because they were on sale. I bought body wash, citrus air freshener, and chocolate chip cookies. I met the others at GameStop. Charlotte went into Great Harvest Bread next door to buy an apple bear claw. Adam told me they had pumpkin with chocolate chip bread. I couldn't resist. That's my favorite kind of bread. I bought a loaf, ate a sample piece, and was thoroughly satisfied. We piled back into the car, went to Best Buy. Adam and I wandered through kitchen appliances, imagining our dream kitchen. We do need to replace the stove, and we do have a home warrenty that will do just that.
Adam, Charlotte and I are now back at our place, while Billy runs some more errands and then meets us here. Adam is playing his new Burnout Revenge game, Charlotte is playing Angels Online, and I'm browsing my favorite sites and thinking up new scenes for the novel.
Penelope is recovering well, in the side room by herself. Her appetite is great and she's enjoying the cuddles.
