All's Quiet On The Suburban Front

brightrosefoxLooks like the P.'s will be heading over here tonight. I'll still be able to give Charlotte her gift, and have some company. They might as well be family, with all the times Adam and I are at their house or they're at our house. We keeping joking that one day the four of us will just buy a house together.
I've been watching VH1 Classic all day. Literally, all day. Woke up at noon, showered, went downstairs, ate breakfast and lunch and now dinner, while watching Channel 143. Greatest Songs of the 80's, I Love the 80's 3D, various music videos from the 80's. Which is fine, because I thoroughly enjoy most 80's music.
Jupiter and Luna are still sneezing, but not so badly as they were a couple of days ago. They're eating and drinking fine, they don't seem distressed. Sneezing is the only symptom; no wheezing, no coughing, no discharge, no inflammation, no legarthy. Jupiter seems more annoyed by this than Luna, occasionally making upset mews and sniffling a lot after a bout of sneezing. Part of me thinks it's not so bad and they should be okay; the other (larger) part of me thinks it's a respiratory infection and is stressing badly over the fact that I am too broke to afford a vet trip for either of them until I get my damn money back. And I just don't want to risk doing anything for them at home. Cats are not humans, after all. I feel like a bad, irresponsible cat parent now. But when I called the vet earlier, I was told that if the cats become unable to breathe, have stopped eating for more than a day, become depressed, and have not improved after a week, then I should take them in. But they're doing fine right now. I just don't like the way Jupiter's nose keeps twitching.
I turned on the humidifier in my bedroom for them; the vet recommended that.
The vet also suggested that since it's chilly and all, the cats might just be trying to clear out their nasal passages of excess hair and all that. I just don't know. But I think they're okay.
I made myself upset now. Stomach and head hurt. Damn it.
