In our neighborhood, people throw out perfectly good furniture and other things. Adam has gotten chairs and a large metal rabbit cage, which he once used to hold the cats the last time the house was bug-bombed. This past weekend, he found a wheelchair, so he brought it home. It's my new computer desk chair. And I apparently have a new nickname, of sorts. Adam has put forth the proposal of an alternate universe where Jean Grey, Phoenix, was the adopted daughter of Charles Xavier. I'm writing a novel about a psionic woman with Phoenix-like powers, but it's been a while since I wrote an X-Men fanfic. I may or may not try it, unless someone else wants to.
I like the wheelchair very much. Charlotte and Adam have been teaching me how to maneuver around the living room in it.
