brightrosefoxHmm. I think I'm starting to like Vicodin. No wonder they advise against taking more than prescribed. Apparently it'll cause severe vomiting and make you think twice about hoarding it. ;b
My cheeks are still swollen and puffy. My mouth still hurts. I still can't chew solid foods. I'm still mumbling and lisping. I'm still sleeping a lot. But I love Ensure. I really do. I love Chocolate Ensure Plus. If I had to be stranded somewhere, I'd want those 32-oz resealable plastic bottles of chocolate Ensure Plus and a refrigerator. Comes from living off the stuff when I was four and had a gum infection and could not open my mouth without it burning, and then when I stopped eating and Mom would force feed me Ensure. I know, I'm weird.
I went to the neurologist for my check-up. First thing he asked was if I had made a decision about the medication. I told him that I'd started taking an herbal supplement called Gotu Kola, on a recommendation from an herbalist (okay, I looked it up online but he doesn't need to know that). Gotu Kola is used for epilepsy. He'd never heard of it, so he actually wrote it down and got this huge red book that said Herbal Medical Dictionary or something like that and we looked up Gotu Kola together. Yes, it's used to treat epilepsy. So I suggested that I try it for a month and see what happens. He said, try three months for real effects. If it doesn't work out, I'll have him prescribe me Lamictal and I'll deal with it. So I am now required to take my herbal pills every day for three months. Which means that all of you, my friends, must tell me ASAP if I have any more seizures within the next three months. I want this to work. Very important, okay?
Just woke up from a three hour nap. Going to take another one probably while trying to watch Simpsons through a hydrocodone daze. Yippee.
Oh, and Adam downloaded Harry Potter 2 last night and we watched it upstairs on the laptop. Very, very cool. Just like the book. The kids are older, but still cute. Highly recommended.
