What I am is what I am

brightrosefoxI'd forgotten how much Edie Brickell's song "What I Am" grabs me. It makes me think of, well, me.
I love my Pilates exerciser. I really want to keep studying Yoga. I wanna get the right muscle groups targeted, so the weight I've gained will not only stay put, but will look good. There. No one can yell at me for that. *grin*
I have this freakish desire for McDonald's food. And it's not from watching commercials or anything; I just really want a fast food burger. Actually, now I want the roast chicken with soy sauce that my mom taught me to make -- but I want Adam's version. I called him earlier, and he quite happily gave up his recipe: He stuffs the bird full of garlic and butter and onions, and injects soy sauce into it. And he rubs wasabi on the skin! What a gourmet I have.
Billy took me back home tonight so I could take care of the dog and the cat and the fish. I have the option of going back, but I'll probably do that at the end of the week. Basically I want to keep playing with the kittens, and I know Charlotte will be happy to have some girl time with me. But I am glad to be home.
