Adam came home around four. Dinner was salmon with wild rice. We made gluten-free brownies, just to see how they were. Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Brownie Mix, made with dark Ghirardelli cocoa. The brownies are delicious, if a bit fluffy. My father has recently become gluten intolerant (not celiac, just sensitive) at seventy, so there's a good chance it will happen to me as I get older. Good thing a lot of GF foods are tasty.

I'm still in a very intense fibro flare, complete with that body-wide sick, feverish, achy feeling. My temperature is lower than normal, my blood pressure is low, I have no energy, and my appetite is gone. Sadly, this is normal. I'm used to it. My period also started this week. That probably didn't help. It no longer bothers me that this is my normal.

I just read a review of the new Taylor Swift album: "Seventy minutes of unicorns and bitterness" and "She acts like an angel when she's being a bully." I LOLed. I can't really talk, though, since I rarely listen to her music.

Tomorrow, Adam will carve pumpkins with power tools and we will run errands. Then, it's off to a party to meet a dear online friend in person for the first time. Other than that, I know nothing. Except that I feel hellish. But that, like all things, will pass.

Also, my current body lotion smells like real chocolate hazelnut coffee.

I hope you feel better today, and I can't wait to see you! And I posted a costume pic up here on LJ, just as a teaser... I think the costume turned out pretty well... :)

See you in a bit! <3

Bob's Red Mill....made in Milwaukie, Oregon, a 10 minute drive from where I grew up. It's about 2 blocks from one of my agency's field offices...their bulk section is TO DIE FOR, as is their cafe. AND you can get fresh bread for $1/loaf. Do the tour of the mill if you ever visit--it's fascinating!

Nice! I get Bob's Red Mill stuff at the local Hostess depot, where they cost half as much as they would at standard stores. Oatmeal, pancake mix, flax seeds... it's all yummy!
