05 - Definition of Love.
I define love as... actually, kind of undefinable. It's different for everyone. But generally, love is a deep, intense affection that crosses boundaries and ignores discrimination. Love is an extreme chemical reaction, sometimes an addiction, and love is a spiritual revelation, a release, a magical journey.

09 - Your Beliefs
Actually, I'll just copy and paste something I once said in an email:
In few words: I am an eclectic polytheist pagan.
In more words: My spirituality is fluid. I practice witchcraft, especially with my husband. I have varied beliefs that reflect Celtic paganism, Greek paganism, Norse paganism, Animism, and Taoism. I don't pigeonhole myself into any one path or religion. I believe that the divine, whether you call it God, Goddess, gods, the Universe, what have you, exists everywhere, in everyone, and can be easily touched without middlemen such as priests or temples or churches. I've dedicated myself to goddesses from several different pantheons, but I never ever combine them when I do rituals, as that would be weird and pointless to me.
I study different forms of magic and I'm always seeking ways to enlighten myself about the universe. I have a natural affinity for manipulating and sensing various kinds of energy, so I like to work with my hands and my mind and I've been reseaching forms of touch healing.
I believe in spirit guides and guardians, and have had a few who have been with me for a long time. I believe that when we die, we don't go to any sort of heaven, but rather back to the universal/cosmic flow of energy that started it all. We can be reborn, live many lives, but in the end it all comes back to energy. I believe that life, the spirit, the soul itself, starts late in gestation or even right at birth. I believe we can have many worlds inside our own minds, and that science is only just beginning to touch the abilities of the human mind. I believe humans are capable of much more than they think. I believe everything is connected somehow.
I've encountered some pagans online who try to shun me or snark me or label me for being such a complex eclectic, but I take it in stride. Of course I am complex. I believe people should always be searching for parts of themselves, because we are constantly changing, moving, flowing.

29 - Aspirations
My strongest desire to achieve something involves getting my first novel published and become successful enough to keep publishing more books.

Also, that's so cool that you want to get your first novel published. Is it ok to ask what it's about?

Sure, you can ask about the novel. It takes place a couple of centuries in the future, and revolves around a close-knit group of friends whose psychic abilities are off the charts in a world where psionic powers are common. They learn that they're being targeted by an even more powerful psionic who is also severely mentally unstable. The antagonist wants to destroy and rebuild the world with the help of the main protagonist, who is resisting, so most of the book is about how the characters deal with all the stuff being thrown at them. It's a very character-driven book.

27- Your Favorite Place
That would be Sag Harbor, NY, in the Hamptons. I moved there with my parents when I was seven and lived there until I was twenty-one. My husband and I drive there every year for the week of Thanksgiving for vacation.
Sag Harbor is considered one of the most beautiful, relaxing places in the country.

15 - Your Dreams

I'm not sure if this means actual, literal dreams, or hopes and dreams of the future, success, etc. I'm going with the second meaning. My biggest dream, obviously, is to be a successful novelist. I've had that dream since early childhood and never wanted anything else. Any other potential job or career was connected in some way to being a writer. It would be awesome if that dream comes true soon.
